    A Gospel song, giving yourself to the Lord so that he forgives you of all sins.
  2. KANGELE (Another word for ‘Confusion’)
    A man who marries more than one wife when other men are single and have no helpers. The first wife become depressed and starts misbehaving, after she had worked hard for what they earned together. Another woman came just to enjoy her friend’s sweat, which is very bad.
  3. LAMBA BULL (Lamba is a tribal language of the Copperbelt Province)
    CHIKWARKWA is a strong Lamba tribesman whohas done a lot of good things in his area. People are now thanking him for his hard work and telling him to continue as a strong Bull.
  4. BA PUMPA (A man’s name).
    Pumpa married a very beautiful lady. Afterwards he started mistreating her and then she wanted to go back to her parents. She lost weight, she never ate good food, no good clothes to wear. But before going back, she asked the husband to change his behaviour so that they look after the family together.
  5. INDEKE (An Aeroplane).
    It’s regarded as very high thing in the community, so this song talks of Zambian musicians and other heroes in sports, politics and media etc. It is a song of praise for their contributions.
  6. BANYINA CHABALA (The mother to Chabala).
    Complaining the morning the death of her child who died mysteriously
  7. AMAYI SINAZIBE (My in-law I didn’t know)
    A mother in law knew that her daughter was a very bad girl. She wasn’t capable of running a home. The daughter’s husband discovered when she was brought home that she was a liar and a crook. The man is now complaining to his mother in-law, that you knew her very well but you were covering her up, what a shame.
  8. BAISA BA MWANAWASA
    The current President Mwanawasa has come and revived agriculture in the country. Simply praising him for the good things he has done.
  9. SABINA (A female name)
    A very good caring mother has made her children successful as doctors, managers and Presidents. Now the children are thanking her for what she has done for them.
  10. CHISASHILE CHALEMA
    Traditional song praising all the chiefs in the Copperbelt Province for their roll in the traditional set-up and looking after their subjects well.
