| The need for multimedia resources grew from involvement in educational visits and exchanges in Africa, through which we found that teachers were: -
- Always under time pressure. Creating multiple solutions to meet the same learning objectives.
- Able to access new technology, making possible the use of multimedia in the classroom every day.
- Becoming competent users of classroom technology
- Required to embed a 'global dimension' in the curriculum.
Class Resource was set up in July 2005 (part-time), to explore the viability of working with teachers to create resources tailored for their use and this grew to full time development in April 2007. Following successful trials, the first products were then launched into the educational marketplace in January 2008, allowing teachers to ease their burden a little and share their pupils enjoyment in enhanced learning.
Working from an idyllic location aside the River Avon in Worcestershire, Class Resource
invites inspired teachers to contact us to share their aspirations for future resources.
